The Tension of Opposites by Kristina McBride

This is a teen novel, but nothing like the vampire/werewolf books that are running rampant in that age level.  It is about a teen girl's coming of age and dealing with the reappearance of her lifelong best friend that was abducted 2 years before.  I highly recommend this one!
